A place worth remembering

Cones on separate plants in the Cycad Garden

SANBI’s Cycad Garden page says male and female cones are borne on separate plants and that plants do not form cones every year.[2][1]

A path crosses the ridge to the Succulent Garden

SANBI says a pathway through the Cycad Garden leads up and over a ridge towards the Succulent Garden. A second SANBI page places the Succulent Garden on the ridge’s northern side and names Madagascan succulents and other indigenous succulent species, such as aloes.[2][3][1]

Braille appears on garden information boards

SANBI’s rules page describes an Enabling Garden near the garden entrance and says information in Braille is also displayed on information boards.[4][1]
