Malabo: cathedral climate, a dated register and local writing
Andruet’s 2020 article treats Santa Isabel Cathedral’s iron-shuttered windows as adaptations to the local climate. A 2010 paper records the Claretian museum’s 1959 register count, while a Spanish cultural centre’s library highlights writing connected with Equatorial Guinea.

Windows for ventilation and light
Mario Andruet’s 2020 article notes 16 stained-glass windows at Santa Isabel Cathedral, plus 12 others that are operable and have iron shutters favouring ventilation and light regulation. He calls the operable windows and the metal sunshades concessions to the local climate.[1]
A museum register at the end of 1959
In a 2010 paper, M.ª Concepción Botargues Martija reports that by the end of 1959 the Claretian museum had a register of 1,567 objects in six categories. She adds that a basic register book and a much fuller file with object details and drawings existed that year. The paper says the small museum had been in Malabo since 1999 and, in 2010, was inside Santuario Claret.[2]
