A place worth remembering

A gilded chandelier

According to the Anglican Diocese of the Windward Islands, St George’s Cathedral has a chandelier made of gilded wood, a circular mahogany pulpit and a brass eagle lectern.[1]

A nave and later transepts

The diocese says the nave, the lower stages of the tower and the galleried interior follow the Georgian design, while the two transepts added during 1880–1887 are examples of Victorian architecture. It lists an old nineteenth-century organ by Bevington of Soho and a modern electronic one.[1]

Postcards and stamps at Richmond Hill

The National Public Library Archives and Documentation Services at Richmond Hill list postcards and stamps among their private collections. Their wider collection index also names photographs, newspapers and rare books.[2][3]
