Ponds named for lakes

Nyandungu Eco-Park describes a restored urban wetland and a native fig forest. Its artificial ponds take the names of Rwandan lakes: Pond Ruhondo sits in sector four, while Ihema is in sector five. The park gives its address on KK 3 Road in Kigali.[3]

Sewing in Nyamirambo

The Nyamirambo Women’s Center says it launched its Umutima product line at the end of 2013. It makes accessories for women, children’s garments and household décor, employing seamstresses from the community; profits fund the centre’s initiatives. The centre describes its founders as women living in Nyamirambo, Kigali.[4]
